…That I know of.
Bipolar Diagnosed Writer, Visual Artist, and Singer Songwriter from Pahrump/Las Vegas trying his hand at writing and compiling prose poetry from people he’s lucky enough to meet via fate or whatever they call it.
Las Vegas’ James Norman is a totally normal guy as far as the eye can tell, besides maybe writing hard hitting prose poetry novels so compulsively that he’s almost 3 books ahead of his released works. Drummer for local band Ted Rader and probably your favorite bartender at Oddfellow’s.
Long time writer friend of Alexis Marshall, singer/frontman of Post-Punk and then some band, Daughters,
Jefferson Wayne’s essence is the figurative catalyst to this zine. With his bleak and angular micro-poetry, Jefferson influenced me to start compiling the most negative micro poetry I could, and I’m not quite sure how, or if, I’ll ever be able to repay him for inspiring such an outlet.
Las Vegas music staple, Wyatt McKenzie, was kind enough to lend some of his, almost automatic, writings to ABRASION IS LOVE zine, and they could not have fit better if they tried to. Wyatt’s genius seeps out slowly over the winded paragraphs of each piece he contributed. His podcast, Order Of The Red Moon, can be searched on youtube or google to listen to topics ranging from chaos magick to other paranormal stories and intricate first hand encounters during his time studying the Occult.
